6,000 Aid Packages from the Turkish General Directorate of Foundations Arrive Once Again Before Ramadan

Once again this year, 6,000 aid packages from the General Directorate of Foundations of Turkey have arrived ahead of Ramadan, facilitated by the Waqf Directorate of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

For the tenth consecutive year, the Waqf Directorate of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been securing Ramadan packages for the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the General Directorate of Foundations of the Republic of Turkey. The distribution will traditionally be carried out in cooperation with the Office for Social Care of the Riyasat of the Islamic Community in BiH, the Ilmiyyah Association, and the Muftis.

In addition to the Ramadan packages, food items have also arrived which will be used to prepare iftar meals for the users of the Duje Reception Center during Ramadan.

The distribution teams are ready, and several deliveries will be carried out throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina by the end of the week according to the agreed schedule, reaching the homes of fasting individuals and those in need.

A significant number of packages will be dispatched tomorrow to Sarajevo and will be distributed by the Waqf Directorate of the Islamic Community in BiH in the days leading up to Ramadan, bringing joy to many orphaned and socially vulnerable families.

This is yet another reflection of the mutual understanding and friendly relations between the two countries.
