Today, the ninth shipping container of humanitarian aid for Burkina Faso, one of the poorest countries in Africa, left the capacity of the IFS-EMMAUS Association.
This aid, which includes clothes, shoes, textiles, dishes, furniture and other basic necessities, is the result of selfless donations from organizations and good people from Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad.
In the previous days, a team of our employees and volunteers worked tirelessly to sort and pack the aid, to ensure that it reached the right hands.
In addition to providing financial aid,FS-EMMAUS has been supporting the education of children in Burkina Faso for years through a program. Since 2014, more than 21,500 children from various provinces of Burkina Faso have been given the opportunity to study thanks to this project.
Annually, we distribute approximately 4,000 scholarships, each amounting to only 30 KM/15 Euros per child, which includes a snack prepared in the school canteens.
By promoting the education of these children, we improve their lives, equip them with tools to combat poverty, and restore faith in noble individuals.
By contributing your donations, you can become part of this compassionate endeavor. The fundraiser continues throughout the year, and each donation you make transforms the lives of these children, offering hope for a brighter future.
Scholarship payments for the 2025/2026 school year can be completed by the end of this year.
All scholarship donors will receive a letter of thanks and a photo of the child they have sponsored.
