Construction of the new accommodation facility at the Duje Reception Centre is progressing successfully. Roofing works are currently underway, alongside continued activities on the interior spaces and other planned construction works.

The construction of this facility is made possible thanks to the support of MFS-EMMAUS’s long-standing partner, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, whose generous donation contributes to creating better and more dignified living conditions for the residents of the Duje Reception Centre. Once completed, the facility will provide residents with a more modern, functional and comfortable accommodation space.

In addition to this facility, the construction of two more modern, fully equipped buildings is planned. These buildings will replace the existing facilities and provide improved conditions for the accommodation and care of residents.

The new infrastructure is aimed at enhancing the overall quality of life of residents, including more spacious living areas, facilities adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities, and dedicated spaces for healthcare and rehabilitation.
