Continuation of Modernization and Construction of New Accommodation Facilities at the Duje Reception Center

As part of its ongoing activities to improve the living conditions of beneficiaries, MFS-EMMAUS continues with the modernization and construction of new, contemporary accommodation facilities at the Duje Reception Center.

The demolition of Building No. 3 is currently underway, and construction of a new, modern two-story facility will soon begin at this location. The new building will be fully adapted to the needs of the beneficiaries, with a focus on comfort, functionality, and the overall quality of living conditions. In the coming period, the laying of the foundation stone for the new facility is also planned, with the presence of donor representatives and other distinguished guests.

The funds for the implementation of this project have been provided by Latter-day Saint Charities (LDS Charities), our long-standing donor. Thanks to the continued support of LDS Charities, MFS-EMMAUS has implemented numerous projects that have had a significant and positive impact on the work of the organization and the quality of life of our beneficiaries.

In addition to this project, the construction of two more new facilities is planned to replace the existing, outdated capacities. The goal of these investments is to ensure better and more humane accommodation conditions for all persons residing at the Duje Reception Center.

MFS-EMMAUS will continue to invest efforts in improving infrastructure and service quality in the future, in order to provide beneficiaries with a safe, dignified, and pleasant environment.
