The days of Eid al-Adha at MFS–EMMAUS are marked by solidarity and the dedicated work of staff and volunteers, who strive to ensure that assistance reaches as many families and individuals in need as possible.

While one part of the teams is diligently engaged in receiving and preparing sacrificial meat, others are daily in the field distributing Qurbani meat to socially vulnerable populations.

Thanks to the support of numerous donors, partners, and all those who have placed their trust in us, the collected quantities of meat will primarily be used to provide meals for 480 beneficiaries accommodated at the Duje Reception Center, as well as for other humanitarian projects implemented by MFS–EMMAUS.

The support will also cover the Boarding Accommodation for Children in Potočari, the “One Meal a Day” program, the People’s Kitchen in Doboj, home deliveries for socially vulnerable families, and other activities through which up to 3,500 meals are prepared daily.

The trust of hundreds of people who visit and support us year after year is a confirmation that, through joint efforts, we can bring relief and hope to those who need it most.
