Enhancing School Quality: Two-Day Training on Self-Evaluation Successfully Completed

Organized by MFS-EMMAUS, a two-day training on “Self-Evaluation and School Quality Development” was successfully held on 29 and 30 January, bringing together teachers and school representatives. The training aimed to strengthen the capacities of educational institutions and support the improvement of the teaching and learning process.

During the two days, participants enhanced their knowledge and skills in areas such as self-evaluation, school development planning, and strengthening internal quality assurance mechanisms through interactive sessions, practical exercises, and the exchange of experiences. Feedback from participants highlighted that the training had a strong impact and significantly contributed to their professional growth.

Special emphasis was placed on the importance of continuous investment in education, as teachers are the key drivers of change within the educational system. Participants and teachers create a synergy that must be nurtured and maintained to improve collaboration in the classroom and ensure a high-quality educational process.

This project clearly demonstrates that strong and empowered teachers lead to a strong education system, better classroom synergy, and, in the long term, guaranteed growth and development for both individuals and the education system as a whole.

MFS-EMMAUS remains committed to improving the quality of education through cooperation with relevant institutions and the continuation of such development programs. For this reason, the project—financially supported by the UniCredit Foundation from Italy—is strategically implemented in cooperation with the Pedagogical Institute of Tuzla Canton, the Center for Educational Initiatives Step by Step, the International Interactive School – MIOS, and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Tzla office, with the support of the  Ministry of Education and Science of Tuzla Canton, further confirming its significance and institutional relevance.
