First Anniversary of the “Big Heart” Center for Children and Youth with Developmental Disabilities 💙

A heartfelt gathering and celebration marked the first anniversary of the “Big Heart” Center for Children and Youth with Developmental Disabilities.

In the presence of parents and friends of the Center, the children put on an emotional performance, blending song, poetry, dance, and drama—sincere and full of heart, just as only children can do. Their energy, smiles, and confidence touched everyone in attendance and sent powerful messages of hope and inclusion.

During the event, the Center proudly presented its activities and achievements over the past year.

The name “Big Heart” perfectly reflects our mission: to provide free, professional, and high-quality services for children and youth with developmental disabilities, with a strong focus on nurturing potential, promoting social inclusion, and empowering families.

This unique center in Bosnia and Herzegovina was opened last year thanks to the generous support of donors from the United Arab Emirates – The Big Heart Foundation, and was equipped with the help of the Diplomatic Winter Bazaar, the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, and the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees.

We move forward—step by step—with a big heart and even bigger dedication, toward new goals and brighter futures.
