HEART OF HAND AND SHOVEL 15th EMMAUS INTERNATIONAL YOUTH WORKING CAMP IN POTOČARI-SREBRENICA

We build the future; we build bright moments for the children from our environment. Where the sky and clouds are covered with gray, we raise the gloomy curtains because we must continue to live the lives of our ancestors. Earlier, there were born loves and shadows of progress until they were stolen by principles, hatred and unscrupulous beings without honor and prestige as if they were slapping palm to palm, without a shred of vanity and honor to have someone as a role model or something that loses sense but engraves pain. It was built by young people, children and adults, with the same ideas and simple thoughts, so that someone can serve it sometimes. With small contributions, but with big hearts, out of different cultures and religions, new ideas were born and realized. The inviolable will for common passion, companionship, work and harmony turns from something imagined into reality and with the foundations of sacrifice and commitment that raised from the land of silver is a monument for the young people who care about the place where 25 years ago the soul was killed. Thanks to foreign and domestic donors, participants of the 15th EMMAUS Youth Working Camp as well as IFS-EMMAUS employees, Boarding accommodation school for children in Potočari will be richer for the Educational Center and sports fields this year and it will shine as a quality milestone in the lives of several hundred children from this Srebrenica area. When it is all over, we’ll cover it with a roof of hearts of sincere people to protect the little ones from gloomy thoughts.
