Iftars in Gaza

As the sun slowly set over the tent settlement in Gaza, children gathered in narrow alleyways, immersed in play and waiting for the moment to break their fast. The elderly spoke of better days gone by, while the young held onto hopes of a brighter future.

With smiles on their faces, MFS-EMMAUS volunteers distributed warm iftar meals along with words of encouragement.

What gives us the most strength are the messages of gratitude we receive, accompanied by prayers for peace. Let this be a spark of hope in the darkest of times.

Each iftar is a reminder that, despite everything, love and solidarity always find a way.
