MFS-EMMAUS Participated in the UniCredit Foundation Program in Milan

MFS-EMMAUS was presented at the two-day UniCredit Foundation program in Milan, held on November 18 and 19, organized for recipients of their grants. Our employees—Program Manager Lejla Smajić and Project Assistant Mirela Nukić—attended the program.

The event brought together organizations from various countries working to advance education, providing an opportunity for experience exchange, networking, and the establishment of new partnerships. During the program, MFS-EMMAUS representatives took part in workshops and discussions dedicated to key topics in contemporary education, including inclusion, innovative learning methods, and support for vulnerable groups of students.

The participants presented the activities of the project “Future Schools of Today,” implemented in the Tuzla Canton, and exchanged experiences with other European organizations working on similar initiatives. Special attention was given to identifying educational vulnerabilities and creating solutions for more equitable access to education.

Participation in the program further enhanced the experience and knowledge of the MFS-EMMAUS team, opening opportunities for future partnerships and innovative approaches to improving the quality of education in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
