Thanks to the Support of Emmaus Europe, Solar Panels Installed at Boarding Accommodation Center in Srebrenica

Thanks to the support of Emmaüs Europe, a significant project has been successfully implemented involving the installation of solar panels on one of the buildings at the boarding accommodation for children in Potočari, Srebrenica.
The project was implemented within the Green Transition Fund, established by Emmaus Europe with the aim of supporting Emmaus communities in transitioning towards more sustainable and energy-efficient models of operation.
This project represents an important step towards improving the energy efficiency and sustainability of accommodation facilities that play a key role for the children and youth residing in the boarding accomodation. Through the implementation of this project, the use of renewable energy sources has been made possible, which will contribute to long-term reductions in electricity costs and environmental protection.
Through its continuous support and understanding of local needs, Emmaus Europe has once again demonstrated how international solidarity can help create better living and educational conditions for young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We express our sincere gratitude for their support and contribution to the realization of this important step towards a greener future.
