WE HAVE PROVIDED 14,000 LITERS OF FUEL OIL FOR HEATING CHILDREN IN 24 SCHOOLS IN IDLIB

Thousands of displaced families are still struggling to survive in camps in Idlib, and it is especially difficult for children who attend classes in leaky tents or in the ruins of schools, dreaming of the day they will return to real classrooms. Lack of heat leads to frequent illnesses and absences from school.

As part of the “Winter Project”, IFS-EMMAUS provided means for heating, in the form of 14,000 liters of fuel oil, which was distributed to 24 schools in the regions of A’zaz and Ariha in Idlib. This satisfies the need for heating schools until the end of April this year. This means that the little ones will have at least a slightly warmer environment so they will be able to focus more on learning instead of fighting the cold at school in addition to all the misfortunes that befell them.
