APPEAL FOR SUPPORT FOR ORPHANAGE ” DAR AL YASMIN” IN SYRIA

IFS-EMMAUS took over the care of the Home for orphans without both parents “Dar Al Yasmin” from Idlib, Syria for a year, where 42 children are currently housed.

A very difficult period of growing up without parents who were killed during the war is ahead of them, and a big challenge ahead of all of us, so we sincerely hope that you will help us in these sincere intentions as before.

During the period of the recent devastating earthquakes, when we distributed aid on the territory of Syria, we visited this orphanage and handed out packages for children, which were collected by children from TC and other parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the activity “Children to other children from heart”, in addition, there were handed and other necessary things for smooth functioning.

Then we saw the difficult situation of the functioning of this Home and promised to help as soon as possible.

Although most orphanages were closed after the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, that special feeling of affection and understanding for the need to support this population of children remained.

The total costs for operating the orphanage amount 100.000,00 BAM for one year.

Monthly expenses per child amount to 200 BAM, which is 2,400 BAM annually.
