Around 100 Children Marked World Orphans Day
IFS-EMMAUS and Educational cultural Centre (EKC) Istanbul marked World Orphans Day on Saturday, 14th April by organizing a one day trip to the Sport-recreational center Ajdinović in Olovo.
At this event, 100 fatherless children participated – 40 children from Sarajevo Canton sponsored by Istanbul cultural center and 60 children sponsored by IFS-EMMAUS. In a beautiful natural surrounding, children enjoyed various games, sport activities- riding horses,singing karaoke and following an educational program.
To this event participated also the representatives of IHH organization from Turkey that financially supported activities held that day. Children participated in an educational quiz after which a lot of gifts were distributed along with akika qurbani meat which has been given to the children once they were ready to return home.
