„Collaboration between RAF and IFS-EMMAUS“ Press Conference, Doboj Istok

Today at IFS-EMMAUS headquarters was held a press conference where the previous cooperation between IFS-EMMAUS and Foundation RAF from Qatar was presented along with future collaboration aims.11

IFS-EMMAUS announced the implementation of two projects: the first is related to distribution of food parcels to 1030 families and second is repayment of debt for poor families .The value of both projects is in total 284,316.43 BAM.

The food parcels will be distributed to people in need throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the Muftis, counting on previously successful cooperation.

The conference was attended by Bajro ef. Džafić – head imam MIC Doboj, Smajo ef. Mustafic head imam MIC Gracanica, mayor of Doboj Istok, Mr. Kemal Bratić, director of the Association IFS-EMMAUS Hamzalija Okanović, project beneficiaries of the RAF Foundation, media representatives and employees. They emphasized the importance of projects that IFS-EMMAUS implements for people in need both in Tuzla Canton as well as in the entire BiH.

Since 2010, RAF cooperates with IFS-EMMAUS in implementation of projects related to distribution of food parcels, organization of Iftar dinners and distribution of Qurban meat.

Officially, in 2012 the cooperation agreement was signed. Only this year, RAF has spent over half a million BAM to help the population in need across BH. Moreover, RAF foundation has sponsored small sustainable projects as purchase of 126 sheep and 38 cows on the territory of Tuzla Cantos and eastern Bosnia by which 101 family have been directly helped.
