DISTRIBUTED ASSISTANCE IN VELIKA KLADUŠA FOR MIGRANTS WHO ARE SPENDING DAYS UNDER THE OPEN SKY AND WITHOUT BASIC NEEDS OF LIVING THINGS

The team IFS-EMMAUS visited Velika Kladuša and distributed significant assistance to migrants in the form of food packages, clothing, footwear, sleeping bags and hygiene items.

We have found the catastrophic situation of these people in Kladuša, most of these people were on the streets and spend their days outdoors without support, while they wait for the opportunity to cross the border.

There are no places in the camps, they are left to themselves and to the couple of activists whom are running out of strength and financial resources.

With the help of these volunteers, we were able to visit most of them and provide them with basic necessities.

The implementation of this activity was realized with the support of the Open Society Foundation in BiH. Before Eid, we also made them happy with a few pieces of new clothes and shoes. Far from their homes and in the absence of financial resources, this help is certainly welcome.

IFS-EMMAUS will make distribution of basic necessities for these people in Velika Kladuša in the next period as well.
