FLOUR AND FOOD PACKAGES FOR ALL BENEFICIARIES OF THE PROJECT ‘LOVE FOR MOTHERS OF SREBRENICA’

IFS-EMMAUS today distributed 41 food packages in Srebrenica to all beneficiaries of the project “Love for Mothers of Srebrenica” who, due to their age, are forced to stay in home isolation. Isolation for these mothers who are left alone in Srebrenica settlements is not something they need special preparation for. As they say, they have been living in isolation for the last twenty years, far from civilization surrounded by minefields and without their loved ones. The only support they have is from our staff members who are constantly visiting them and in various forms of support make their everyday life easier.

Today’s distribution of food packages and flour for our beneficiaries was realized from the funds donated by the Turkish company “Cengiz Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret” to help the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina.  There is a special meaning, for every mother, when someone visits her and exchanges a nice word with them, and today’s visit made them especially happy. In addition to the packages and flour for each mother protective masks were also provided, in case they really have to leave their homes for some reason.
