He gave up of a part of his funds for schooling and honored his friends from the IFS-EMMAUS Boarding Accommodation in Potočari, where he also resided.

A lot of children pass through our boarding accommodation in Potočari. When they finish high school, they are no longer our beneficiaries. Some of them go to bigger cities to study, others to find jobs and a few of them go abroad to gain additional experience, knowledge and some new diplomas.

Among those who went abroad to get additional education is our beneficiary Said Hasanović from Konjević Polje. With a smile on its face, quiet, descent and, above all, disciplined and a good student, Said traveled to Turkey in September and enrolled at the Turkish Military Academy in Ankara.

The good side of his personality is that he did not forget us and his friends from boarding accommodation, and so, one evening he called us with a request to gather all beneficiaries, after school engagements so he could treat them with a small snack.

We prepared a barbecue, juices and sweets for children / beneficiaries and Said insisted on paying the costs which he gave up for one part of money he received for tuition, because of this surprise.

Unfortunately, he could not be with us to have fun together, but he answered with a video call and greeted his friends at boarding accommodation.

We are really proud of all our children and they do not forget help we provided for them. Good luck Saide in continuing of your education.
