HUMANITARIAN CONTAINER OF CLOTHES AND FOOTWEAR FOR THE PEOPLE OF SYRIA

Thanks to donations from BiH citizens, IFS-EMMAUS has sent a container of winter clothing and footwear for the people of Syria.

Clothes were collected from humanitarian containers set up in Tuzla, Živinice, Gračanica, Srebrenik and Odžak, and in the past period they were sorted and packaged by employees of IFS-EMMAUS.

This aid will be delivered to the Turkish port of Mersin, where the goods will be taken over by the Syrian humanitarian organization Masrrat, and they will continue to distribute clothing to the population within Syria.

So far, IFS-EMMAUS in cooperation with the Islamic communities of Tuzla, Zenica, Banja Luka and Sarajevo, sent 53 trucks (1280 tons of humanitarian aid) in the form of foodstuffs and baby nappies, and this is the second truck of clothing that we send to Syria this year which is a continuation of our humanitarian mission for the Syrian people in which the war has been going on for eight years now. At the beginning of this new year we will send another container to help.
