IFS-EMMAUS SENT AID TO THE PEOPLE OF LEBANON

The International Forum of Solidarity- EMMAUS has paid funds for the reconstruction of several residential buildings that suffered damage after the devastating explosion at the warehouse in Beirut.

Many houses and apartments were damaged during the explosion. With the help of the partner organization IHH İnsani Yardım Vakfı from Turkey, IFS-EMMAUS provided assistance from BiH to the people of Lebanon that will be used for reparation, rehabilitation and renovation of damaged apartments in Beirut.

Having on mind, that at the time of the explosion at least 135 people were killed and 5,000 injured, this is one kind of assistance and sympathy for the families who suffered even more than only material injury because they lost their loved ones.

With the early rescue, there will be saved many families and their lives as well as ensuring basic living needs. Many countries had involved in ensuring timely delivery of humanitarian aid in the form of food and medical interventions in order that overall situation would be directed toward a sustainable recovery.

It can be seen on photography several dwelling that will be renovated thanks to our donation, so that in a very short period of time the owners will be able to re-enter in their houses after the renovation and continue with their lives.
