International Volunteer Day marked at the Reception Center Duje

Have a sense of affection to a special group of people and giving them the affection whenever there is opportunity for that, means to have a heart and warm soul on one and firm and characterful on the other side. Towards the beneficiaries of the Reception Center Duje, we always approach with special attention and our volunteers always improve their mood and somehow brighten up these gloomy rainy days and monotonous hours.

Today is the International Volunteer Day and instead of marking it with a modest lunch and in that way mark their day, the volunteers of IFS-EMMAUS on their own initiative decided to spend it in company with the beneficiaries of the Reception Center. There were songs, games, drawings and other fun activities today. Beneficiaries always miss that and the volunteers have created a really good mood for everyone. Let us remember how these boys and girls recently drew and decorated the exterior surfaces of the Reception Center Duje in order to break the monotonous look of everyday life.
