MFS-EMMAUS Participates in the BRAT Project Conference in Sarajevo – SOP Guidelines and Partner Experiences Presented

The conference organized by IPSIA and the Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina, within the project “BRAT: Balkan Route – Reception in Transit,” was held yesterday in Sarajevo at the Hotel Holiday.

The project is funded by AICS and implemented with the support of partners IPSIA, Caritas Italy, the Italian Red Cross, MFS-EMMAUS, Caritas Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the conference, the document “Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)” for Minor Reception Centers, Day Centers, and Community Corners was presented, developed as a key outcome of the project.

MFS-EMMAUS took part in the roundtable discussion “Health, Dignity, and Inclusion in the Context of Migration – Experience through the BRAT Project,” where experiences were shared, challenges discussed, and the importance of cooperation among partners highlighted.

This event confirms the commitment of the participating organizations to improving support for migrants in transit, as well as the importance of applying learned practices in future initiatives that contribute to a more inclusive and humane community.
