New wheelchairs for beneficiaries of the Reception Center Duje
Yesterday, Reception Center Duje received a really valuable donation in the form of a wheelchair for its beneficiaries. Wheelchairs that will enable greater and easier mobility for a large number of beneficiaries of our Center were donated by our long-time friends from the organization LDS Charities and thus continued support in the implementation of our projects.
This donation will improve the work of the Center and replace a large number of worn-out wheelchairs that were used by beneficiaries every day.
Another important activity that preceded the procurement of this equipment was the training for 6 IFS-EMMAUS employees who pass the training and received certificates for the procurement of wheelchairs. The training was held by trainers in front of LDS Charities in Banja Luka at the Institute for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation” Dr. Miroslav Zotović”. During the training days, all participants followed the lectures directly from their wheelchairs and thereby created additional feelings about the importance of high-quality determination and ease of adaptation to the use of each individual beneficiary.

But we would also like to thank the institute from Banja Luka, which provided its human and spatial capacities to hold training sessions and to exempt wheelchairs for our beneficiaries”, says Sefir Halilović in his speech, assistant director of the Reception Center Duje.
