As the days pass, we are witnessing the lower temperatures that migrants are struggling with at Trnovi camp, especially in the night.

This sentence sound innocent if we read it in a comodity of a warm home. If we take into account the cold, wet and roughened improvised tents in the muddy meadow, thousands of miles away from our house on the road for who knows where, the sentence gets more sense and creates the dam toward the very idea of finding ourselves in a similar situation.

In order to alleviate the suffering of these people and to allow them to stay warmer during the long winter nights, we made purchases and gave them over a hundred pairs of winter shoes and jackets according to the previously listed exact sizes for each of them. We hope that this equipment will at least for a moment regain the heat around their heart and the faith that they are nevertheless not forgotten and left to the mercy of this whole situation.

Barefooted and frozen, they expressed the words of thanks in a swift voice, although there was no need for it because their smile was a sufficient acknowledgment of gratitude and enthusiasm.

From a childhood, life is teaching us to rely on a man, starting with our parents, and later relying on life partners, colleagues, friends, and good people as a whole.

But when your life takes you away from it all, you will be surprised to find someone very remotely reminding you of all these beautiful manners of childhood. Indeed these people need support and they deserve nothing less than that.
