Vice President of the FBIH Melika Mahmutbegović visited IFS-EMMAUS Boarding Accommodation in Potočari

Vice President Mahmutbegović visited IFS-EMMAUS’s Boarding Accommodation in Potočari and on that occasion talked to representatives of the Center and the mothers of Srebrenica. After the meeting, Vice President Mahmutbegović visited mothers of Srebrenica, beneficiaries of the project “Love for Mothers of Srebrenica” and handed them symbolic gifts, laid flowers and paid tribute to the victims of genocide at the Memorial Center in Potočari.

“I want to say that mothers in Srebrenica are not alone, we do not think of them only in July, they deserve our attention every day, and not just one day,” said Mrs. Mahmutbegović.

Beneficiaries of the Daily Center and Boarding Accommodation IFS-EMMAUS in Potočari handed over a symbolic gift to Vice President Mahmutbegović as a sign of gratitude for the support so far.

“On this occasion I would like to thank Vice President Mahmutbegović for this visit. This is not Mrs. Mahmutbegović’s first visit to us and our Association, our beneficiaries, including the mothers of Srebrenica.

This is proof of our work, but also the continuity of the positive attitude of Vice President Mahmutbegović towards things we are doing. This visit is a support to us, and the message of motherhood, and the message to those who could be here today, but are not, “said Elmedin Škrebo, Assistant Director of IFS Emmaus.

During her visit to our office in Potočari, the Vice President also visited our newly built Educational Center as well as the Center for Elderly People, which is under construction and its opening is planned for July this year.
