30 BAM FOR ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR ONE CHILD IN BURKINA FASO

Burkina Faso is considered among the poorest countries in the world. 60% of the population of Burkina Faso practices Islam. It is often called the land of rice, cotton and peanuts. A very poor living standard and poverty is the fate of most of the inhabitants of this African country. In the year 2004, GDP was about $ 1,100 per one resident. The strongest impact of poverty feel children. Many of them do not go to school or they only finish one or two grades in order to adopt writing and reading skills. People feel lost in time and children were deprived from quality of knowledge. The small green boards on which they keep their notes often leave only one dead letter hidden from oblivion.

For the sixth year in continuity, IFS-EMMAUS has been sending scholarships and assistance to the children of Burkina Faso in Africa, a country that is known as one of the poorest in the world.

The scholarship for one child is only 30 convertible marks or 15 euros for one school year.

The annual amount for scholarship for these children is not so large, and so far, we are witnessing the positive response of the citizens of BiH when it comes to the activity scholarships for these children.

We believe that in the coming school year, a large number of them will have the opportunity to continue their education thanks to you.

Let’s test our humanity and create again the feeling that we have helped someone to finish school with a modest funds. All those who pay scholarships will receive a note with the words of thanking and a photo of a child for whom was provided scholarship.
