A letter of thanks from Burkina Faso has arrived at donor addresses

In the past few days, a letters of thanks has arrived at the e-mail address for those who donated funds for scholarships for children in Burkina Faso, from happy little children, who will have the opportunity to attend another school year thanks to you. On our emails and social media posts we constantly receive messages as thank and support to our work. We have asked most of you to post your messages publicly and we understand if you want to be anonymous, so below we will upload two messages with or without the name of the donor as we promised.

I appreciate the work of your organization, and we will continue to support you in your continued work, both in this and similar projects.

“My dear, the most beautiful and moving letter in my life (from Burkina Faso) has arrived today. Thank you for your existence and I’m glad to be part of your human organization. I will continue along with you. May Dear Allah keeps you safe.”

In a message of a lady from Lukavac stays she wanted to remain anonymous.

Some of us are simply surprised with the letter, especially to those whom was first time to participate in sponsoring the education of these children. Unfortunately, every year there are piles of letters left here at us that we are unable to deliver to you due to the lack of your addresses.

We established our work and human mission exclusively on transparency of action. Following the good examples through the years of humanitarian work behind us, we have learned that all the effort that is done is ours and your shared mission, and we should be proud and continue to carry out it over and over again. For this reason, we ask all those who made the payment and did not receive the thanking letter to their address, to contact us at our mail address info.ifs@mfs-emmaus.ba and to leave their contact information in order to provide you a letter as soon as possible.

For the fifth year in a continuity, IFS-EMMAUS has been taking care about education of African children in a distant Burkina Faso, a country known as one of the five poorest countries in the world and one of the biggest problems is illiteracy. With small renunciations of good people, this situation can change into better. So, thanks to the action realized from 2014, the year in a spirit of solidarity and following positive goals Emmaus movement, last year provided 2,050 scholarships for children. The money has come into the hands of “little people” who now have the opportunity to sit in classrooms, and except knowledge and education, they have been provided with a safe meal in the school kitchens, and they hope for a brighter future.

We would like to thank you once again in the name of all the children to whom you have made available education this year and to inform you that we are continuing to raise funds for the education of children in Burkina Faso in the 2020/21 school year.

The scholarship for the whole school year is 30 KM / 15 €
