IFS-EMMAUS employees today have distributed food packages in the refugee camps in the area of Turkish-Syrian border. Some of them have up to 40,000 people. The sad destinies that we found in the refugee camp gave us a huge slap from which it is impossible to recover. In the camps that we visited, there are mainly families from Halep and a large number of orphans. We distributed food packages that the citizens of BiH collected for the last convoy of aid, and to the youngest and bravest residents we brought sweets. After the refugee camps we visited houses and apartments for refugees that IHH is building with other organizations in because the conditions in the tents are impossible, especially for those living there since the beginning of the war in Syria.
Bosnians and Herzegovinians be proud to be part of this story and be sure that the help has arrived in the right hands and at the right time. Bakeries which are constantly preparing the flatbreads for these people have already begun with the consumption of your donated flour, and the product will be distributed to these people whose only wish is food and a roof over the head.
