Construction of “Centre for children and youth” Continues

Today, few metres from the big building “Centre for children and youth” was laid the first foundation stone for the two small houses that marked the continuation of the construction process. Many friends and donors attended this big event, and the stone was laid by the mayor of Doboj Istok, Mr. Kemal Bratić and head imam of Islamic community of Doboj, Bajro ef. Džafić. The construction of two small houses was initiated thanks to donations from Union of municipalities of Turkish world (Türk dünyası Belediyeler Birliği – TDBB) whose member is also Doboj Istok municipality. The estimated date of opening is mid-2017.

As a reminder, the construction process started in July 2014 thanks to the donations from Dutch organization Stichting Proplan. At that time, the first phase initiated and the Centre for children and youth was officially opened in September 2015. By constructing all the items designed in the general project, we will facilitate enormously the last phase of resocialization of the youngest beneficiaries leading to the final scope which is their reintegration into the society.
