Delegation of the International Solidarity Forum – EMMAUS visits the reisa-l-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein ef. Kavazovic

Reisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein ef. Kavazovic met today with representatives of the International Solidarity Forum – Emmaus. The delegation of this charity included Director Hamzalija Okanovic and Advisor Director Muhammad Yaser Sabbagh with associates.

The representatives of MFS-EMMAUS informed reisu-l-ulema about the activities of the association, numerous humanitarian projects that are being implemented and which we are planning in the coming period. Considering that, over the past year, as before, the Islamic Community has assisted numerous MFS-Emmaus projects, our representatives thanked the Reis-l-ulema for this and submitted a brief report to him. Reisu-l-uleme expressed readiness to continue supporting Emmaus activities in accordance with the capabilities of the Islamic Community.

The meeting also discussed the projects implemented by Emmaus together with the Islamic Community in Srebrenica and the current crisis with migrants and refugees.
