During the whole month of Ramadan, IFS-EMMAUS distributed 16,175 iftars to the doorstep throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina and organized dozens of collective iftars. There were handed over 9,580 Ramadan packages to the socially vulnerable population throughout BiH, as well as to orphan families.
During Ramadan, none of the employees of IFS-EMMAUS was not spared, thus giving their maximum through the organization, logistics, preparation and implementation of each accompanying activity. We are one big and well-coordinated team ready for any challenge and we are proud of the thousands of kilometers covered in one month, in order to deliver warm iftar joys and packages to people in need.
We had huge support from all over the world, again, people recognized our sincere intentions and as it was practice in previous years, supported our idea which we worked out thoroughly and professionally until the last day.
We would like to thank all our donors once again: citizens of BiH, BH diaspora around the world as well as numerous domestic and foreign organizations, businesses and associations who helped all our activities during Ramadan with their payments and engagement. We also thank all the individuals and informal groups who, through independent activities, raised significant funds for our Ramadan distributions that we have realized.
We also thank all our employees who worked selflessly throughout the month, invested a lot of effort and time in order to ensure that everything was perfectly organized. There were a lot of children’s smiles and Eid gifts this year as well, which we prepared for the children / orphans because we are especially empathetic to them. Somehow, with their happiness our souls are more fulfilled.
Good returns in better!
