Humanitarian organizations Haluan from Malaysia and University Teknologi MARA UiTM from Malaysia visited the IFS-EMMAUS

In the past few days, IFS-EMMAUS had the honor of welcoming members of the HALUAN Humanitarian Organization from Malaysia and Professor Dr. Baharudin Omar, along with their colleagues and students from Teknologi MARA UiTM University of Malaysia. This is a return visit that came after representatives of IFS-EMMAUS in July this year visited the headquarters of Haluan organization which provides help for populations around the world and provides support in the reconstruction of infrastructure, especially in crisis areas.

During the first day of their visit, Humanitarian organization Haluan and Dr. Baharudin Omar, together with their colleagues and students, visited the Embassy of Indonesia in BiH and the Vakuf Directorate of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Representatives of our organization led by Director Hamzalija Okanovic also attended the visit to these two institutions. The meeting discussed the potential forms of cooperation in the fields of common interest.

Afterwards, they visited the Duje Reception Center and the Boarding Accommodation in Potocari, Srebrenica, where 85 backpacks were distributed for children and donated the food for the purposes of the Reception Center Duje.

The projects of our organization were presented to the visitors and we defined some projects for our future cooperation.
