IFS-EMMAUS in the service of humanity cannot stay immune to overall situation regarding the migrant crisis in BiH

IFS- EMMAUS vision is that each man, each society and each nation can live, express and accomplish through exchange and distribution, in an equally dignified manner. This is why, we cannot stay immune to comprehensive situation regarding migrant crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina and unscrupulous behaviors that are more than obvious towards migrants who are in transit throughout BiH.

IFS-EMMAUS is constantly present in the field, we try to find a way to create humane solutions so that these people do not feel the dose of intolerance that is constantly being placed upon them. We struggle to provide food and hygiene supplies. We are primarily involved in the daily food distribution, clothing and hygienic necessities for migrants passing through Tuzla, while in Velika Kladuša, due to the great distance, several times a month we deliver food, clothing and hygienic necessities.

Kladuša is a place where we are constantly witness migrants unsuccessful trespassing the border which often culminate in violent/blood scenario for migrants. With increased border security forces, a large number of them still manage to cross and move on to EU countries. Our aim is not to balance relationship between state and local community, our only goal is that these people on the move are provided with warm meal, dry clothes and shoes.
