Unintentionaly caused life troubles are increasingly affecting people in our area, those people are less frequently noticed, left for years at the mercy of the harsh days ahead. Is there a better feeling than feeding one such person, making her happy with a warm meal, a nice word, to make her not feel neglected, rejected and hungry? “One meal per day” is the name of a project that IFS-EMMAUS has been implementing for 3 years and currently includes 450 beneficiaries from Doboj Istok, Doboj, Gracanica, Srebrenica, Bratunac and Zvornik.

The project is intended for elderly people in need, ill, disabled, who live mostly in remote rural areas and cannot afford a meal or access to a soup kitchen on their own. Our team everyday comes to the doorstep with a warm meal and a nice word. We prepare our freshly cooked meals with love with fresh and carefully selected ingredients. The ingredients for the preparation of food to vulnerable categories of people are obtained solely from donations and payments from good people, and from calls made to the unique humanitarian number 17011, active for all operators in BiH.
