We will never feel and pay attention in our lives as much as we could to satisfy our own or someone else’s needs. We will never be sure that we miss nothing. Life, no matter how cruel or dark, we make wishes come true or we keep them from others secretly. Sometimes aware that they will not be realized, sometimes not to hurt the feelings of others who would fulfill them and are unable to do that. And when we jump on the rails of life, everything passes so quickly and disappears from the spectrum of our views, some desires remain behind us like trees that we see in motion through the windows. As we are getting old, all material things become insignificant to us and we pay more attention to the feelings that we are not neglected and forgotten. So, the word addressed to us in this way means more than any gift. Talking to the elderly and patiently listening to their problems not only positively affects their mood but leaves a special rehabilitation effect for continuation of the happy journey through life. Their worn-out hands and wrinkled faces prove that all bad moments are forgotten, but permanent scars remain that should be a warning to all of us and that we should pay more attention to them whenever we have free time.
