The construction works are progressing on the Center for children and young persons with developmental disabilities in Doboj Istok

The construction of the Center is financed by The Big Heart Foundation from the United Arab Emirates, and it is aimed to provide support for all children with developmental disabilities from the municipality of Doboj Istok and beyond.

After the cornerstone ceremony on May 18, began the detailed preparation of the land before the actual construction, the concrete works in the ground and above the ground, and now are carried out the masonry works on the building which already takes on its final appearance.

The Center will have specially arranged cabinets for individual and group work, sensory rooms and outdoor playgrounds adapted to children with developmental disabilities and represents extremely important support for their needs as well as their parent’s needs, especially since the need for its existence has already been confirmed in practice, through the implementation of the project The Day Care Center/Center for children with special needs, implemented by IFS-EMMAUS.

Completion of the work on the Center is expected next year, at the beginning of May, and the contractor is the construction company “Invest gradnja” from Gračanica.
