IFS-EMMAUS Association, in partnership with the Pedagogical Institute of the Tuzla Canton, organized the third educational training within the project “Future Schools of Today!”, implemented with the financial support of the UniCredit Foundation from Italy.
This training is part of ongoing activities aimed at improving the education system and strengthening the competencies of teaching staff. It represents an area in which IFS-EMMAUS has been actively engaged for many years through various programs supporting children and youth across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The training was held in the conference hall of Hotel Orion in Srebrenik, organized by IFS-EMMAUS and the Pedagogical Institute of the Tuzla Canton. Expert support was provided by MA Gestalt psychotherapist Merima Hafizović from Mostar, who also delivered the lecture. The topic of the training was “Teachers’ Mental Health in Focus: Challenges and the Importance of Communication with Parents and Students,” and it brought together 30 teachers and professional associates from Srebrenik, Gradačac, Tuzla, Gračanica, Doboj Istok, and Živinice.
Through interactive lectures and practical exercises, participants worked on improving communication skills, active listening, better understanding, and emotional management.
IFS-EMMAUS continues to implement activities aimed at enhancing the quality of education, providing support to schools, teachers, and students through various projects and initiatives that contribute to creating a more accessible and higher-quality educational environment.
