We are building some new dimensions – The House of Meetings in Pale near Potočari

IFS-EMMAUS has been present on the territory of Srebrenica for two decades. There are various projects that are being realized and that are moving forward thanks to good people and partners. One of the partnerships that has certainly grown into a friendship is the cooperation with the people who represent the Foundation “House of Good Tones” from Srebrenica.

Thanks to the success of this cooperation in Pale near Srebrenica, where IFS-EMMAUS has previously implemented projects of solidarity economy, the implementation of the project “House of Meetings” is underway.

Our goal and the goal of our partners that the “Meeting House” be a multifunctional location, a central place for training and education of young people from our country and Europe.

IFS-EMMAUS built a house with a restaurant a couple of years ago, and last year, with the help and cooperation of the mentioned Foundation were built four prefabricated houses. A conference room is currently under construction, which is being built jointly by the Foundation House of Good Tones, the Hilti Foundation and, of course, us. Help in the construction is provided from 24 volunteers, students and professors of the craft profession from Austria, who are improving their skills through the programs of the company “Hilti”, and in Pale in a beautiful environment are our guests. This is just one of the teams of volunteers who are helping in the realization of this wonderful idea, and in the coming period we expect more young and older volunteers who will be part of this beautiful story.
