WE STARTED WITH THE DISTRIBUTION OF MONEY SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 1,700 ORPHAN CHILDREN THROUGHOUT BiH

In the next four days, the teams of “International Forum of Solidarity – EMMAUS” will distribute financial scholarships for 1,700 orphans throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Thanks to foreign donors, even this time, IFS-EMMAUS organized distribution that will be realized at more than 20 locations in BiH.

Visits were planned in places Živinice, Kalesija, Lukavac, Tuzla, Zvornik, Goražde, Sarajevo, Sanski Most, Bosanska Krupa, Bihać, Cazin, Velika Kladuša, Srebrenica, Srebrenik, Brčko, Gradačac, Travnik, Bugojno, Mostar, Zavidovići, Jelah, Klokotnica and Gračanica.

All necessary measures of prevention and protection have been carried out according to the instructions of the Crisis Staff due to the current epidemiological situation.

Before distribution, facilities were disinfected and hand disinfection was mandatory, wearing protective masks was also mandatory except in the part of photographing.

In addition to regular scholarships for children, we continuously organize gatherings and distribution of school supplies and backpacks, food packages for socially vulnerable families and many other material support for these children, such as the distribution of firewood and white goods.

IFS-EMMAUS has been operating as a unique domestic, humanitarian, non-governmental organization within and outside the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina for more than twenty years. It was established in 1999 with the aim of providing assistance to all vulnerable categories of the population who need that assistance.
