Work but earn more than money! INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER DAY CELEBRATED IN IFS-EMMAUS

Being a volunteer does not mean just being physically engaged and committed to solving some good. Being a volunteer means to participate with your soul in every project with whom you unconditionally give and contribute to the community. Leaving a mark on the realization of many projects for the benefit of all of us is possible only if you have experienced the role of volunteers as a role of powerful officials, because your voice, your attitude and your contribution are deeply inscribed in all pores of life. That is the way how it becomes the only engagement by which you directly impose a benefit not only for yourself but for the entire community.

At IFS-EMMAUS, everything began and ended somehow with volunteer engagement, everything was done with heart and soul towards achieving the goals on which we are proud of, for 22 years of our existence. Thousands of volunteers have passed through our organization, a large number of them have grown up, and they are still part of our engagements, day by day an indelible mark has been left that will be a guide for thousands of other volunteers, we will be proud that we all together experience success at the same intervals and that for everything that has been done be a common medal for all of us without exception.

Today, on the occasion of December 5, the International Volunteer Day, we organized a workshop about the importance of volunteerism and active participation of young people in the local community. Today we recalled all the activities of volunteers in recent years by watching a film about the development of IFS-EMMAUS and the direct merits of volunteers in that process.

The U.S. Embassy in BiH provides great support in our work with volunteers, and we thank them on this occasion and we wish to our loyal volunteers a lot of happiness, health and success in life, which is unquestionable based on their commitment. GOOD LUCK OUR DEAR VOLUNTEERS
