One Meal a Day

MFS-EMMAUS has been implementing the project “One Meal a Day” since 2017. On the recommendation of the competent Centers for Social Work, more than 1,000 beneficiaries are included in the project from the areas of Doboj Istok, Doboj, Gračanica, Lukavac, Tuzla, Srebrenica, Bratunac, Zvornik, Velika Kladuša, Gradačac, and Srebrenik.

The project is intended for elderly people in need, sick and frail individuals who mostly live alone in remote rural areas, and who cannot independently provide themselves with a meal or reach a public kitchen.

Our team visits these people every day at their doorsteps with a warm meal.

MFS-EMMAUS plans to expand the distribution areas in the upcoming period, so that we can reach even more citizens for whom this type of assistance is essential.
